At the Kunstverein Meppen, Cornelius Völker’s painting class will showcase various artistic approaches by young students. With their works, a class from the Münster Academy of Fine Arts is moving into the Kunstverein’s historic, protected spaces for an exhibition for the first time. In addition to painting, the students also work with sculpture or incorporate various materials—such as fabrics—and printmaking techniques into their creative process. In a bold installation, colors, surfaces, and forms come together. Each work reflects an independent artistic exploration. The exhibition invites visitors to engage with these diverse perspectives and to enter into a dialogue with the works through their own perspective.

The students in Cornelius Völker’s class are: Felix Abbe, Malena Brandt, Christina Buttler, Lotta Fink, Kashi Grätz, Woorim Ha, Minhye Kang, Hyeongeun Kim, Lenia Klemann, Gianluca Lange, Chaewon Lim, Aziz Mahmud, Jana Spill, Alexander Schünemann, Melissa Thiehoff, and Yun-Chi Tsai.
