Lucy Kitchen is a British folk singer-songwriter from Romsey, Hampshire. She makes music that encompasses folk, Americana and a bit of country and is influenced by the feel of 70s singer-songwriters. When looking for reference points, she is often compared to artists such as Joni Mitchell, Beth Orton and vocally to Sandy Denny. Lucy’s unique blend of hypnotic folk music, combined with her haunting voice and soulful songwriting, captivates audiences both in the UK and internationally. She has been featured on radio including BBC Introducing, BBC Radio Scotland, Amazing Radio USA and Radio X. She has recently released the single “Red Skies” which has been played on Iain Anderson’s show on BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Solent amongst others.
