Hanna Meyerholz tells us about all this and much more. Usually in pairs, usually beautiful: English lyrics, two voices, two guitars – that’s all the seasoned artists from Münster need to prove that good songs still work today in their most original form. Here, sometimes the head, sometimes the heart, sometimes the heavy, sometimes the light, sometimes time and sometimes standing still become the occasion for a beautiful story. You simply can’t escape Hanna’s warm, intense voice, Phil’s virtuoso guitar playing and the way everything somehow interlocks perfectly. The fact that the duo recently released their third album, “This Year”, is not only evident in the complexity of the arrangements and lyrics, but also in the calmness and composure with which the two meet their audience.
