The Meppen Art Circle invites you to this year’s pottery market on the idyllic grounds of the Art Center. Between the youth and cultural guest house, the museums at the Koppelschleuse and the buildings of the Kunstkreis, around 30 professional ceramists will once again be exhibiting masterful ceramic art. This year you will once again come across old, well-known ceramists, such as Frauke Schlegelmilch with her special salt cellars and Nadine Breulmann with figurative ceramics. But there are also “new” ceramists such as Herwart Frie, Krefeld with, among other things, candle eaters made of high-quality porcelain and Steffi Kerwat (Nüko) with highly finished tableware. With free admission, visitors can expect a diverse and varied range of high-quality ceramics. On offer are high-quality utility ceramics in a wide variety of shapes and colors, figurative ceramics, ceramic objects and everything that people need for the table and garden.
What started quite small 30 years ago with 13 ceramic workshops has become one of the most visited events of the KULToursommer in Emsland. All interested parties are cordially invited to experience the special atmosphere for themselves.
