In this course no theme is given, you can realize your own ideas – whether figurative or abstract. The artist Christa Baumgärtel gives you the freedom to develop your own themes and realize them in clay. Sculpture offers a wide range of possibilities in terms of content and form. For example, nature can be used as inspiration (fruit, seed pods, etc.), as well as forms with an abstract, contrasting character such as the interplay of geometric and organic shapes. Every creative idea is welcome. If you would like to portray animals or people, please bring meaningful photos such as profile and side views. We will be working with clay and modeling fully this weekend, i.e. without a hollow structure, which includes the opportunity to make changes until shortly before completion. (Experienced participants can of course also work in a hollow structure).

Everyone is welcome on the course, beginners and advanced alike! Please bring cover foil!
