“But you did that beautifully…” – How we should not view and accompany children’s artistic work

Preschool children go to work without the goal of creating a great artistic masterpiece at the end. They paint, craft, shape and design to explore materials and give expression to themselves and their inner images. They are not necessarily concerned with beauty, but with the mark they leave on the earth during their existence.

In this workshop, we will develop helpful approaches for accompanying children’s artistic creations in preschool and how they can strengthen children in their self-expression without judging the works. We also work with different materials and artistic approaches ourselves and experience how much relief, development potential and above all joy it can bring to work artistically without judging our works.
