In the otherwise idyllic Hohwacht on the Baltic coast, there is one big mess: chicken farmer Bartelsen is planning a fattening house and is murdered. The bearish inspector Oke Oltmanns investigates between the angry members of “Hühner ohne Grenzen e. V.”, who demonstrate against the planned fattening house, and indignant tourists who settle in his guard. As if that weren’t enough, Marlene, the coastal chicken, shows up in the confusion, heading for victory in the SUP regatta.
